I was quiet set back when I saw other reviews about this site, but everyone is allowed to voice there opinion and could face possible differences, I haven't used anything on site apart from a visit to the shop, I arrived to be grated by lovely staff in the reception who gave me directions to meet Vicky, Lovely woman polite well Spoken, she didn't give me the key and send me on my way, she did the opposite showed me into my pod, showed me what I had and even told me what was in the area I can do with my whippet on our little break, As soon as I got in the pod I was not what hoseasons said it was in the inside.. It was better.. Plenty of space, toilet and shower very modern not just a typical shower. Heating was on ready for arrival perfect after braving the cold Outside.. I can honestly say after 5 min of sitting down I fell completely in love with the site and the pod.. I don't need to think twice but I will return, whether that's next winter or summer, it's a little site and perfect for a little get away. Parking for the pods is right in your door step you park outside your door which is perfect.. Cutlery and pots included there is a 10 cleaning fee on site.. Hoseasons didn't tell me this either or have it in the discription, but who can moan at 10.. My pod was fresh and clean smelt fresh.. No Bad oders...I am impressed with this so much, 2 bunk beds plenty of space to sleep on.. For me I prefer the sofa bed with the dog.. No One likes a long review but they contain the most info and the long ones seem to be the best ones, leaving times bonus supposed to be 10am but was offered to leave later for that extra lie in before departure ... Can't say much more but it's an ample size and place for a small break...Big Thank you

I.come to stay at Holly Bank.caravan park for a long weekend with my son daughter in.Law when.you frist come on to the site it looks great we already have our own.van but had to use the park _ faclitys which the shower area is disgusting not very clean.dirty bucket with mop in dirty water how are you expected to clean showers with that mop!!! ....?I wouldn't clean my cat with that the staff seemed pleasant enough in till you get close to a man that help.us stunk of cannabis not what you expect on a caravan site for residents and hoilday makers my husband went to use the male toilets had human toilet over the seats and in side the pan not good when.people have to walk.into such mess need a to be addressed in many ways the electric are very dangerous the electrics are covered with.bags keeps cutting off I've read some of the over reviews were they had bed bugs in bed and breakfast New management well.what can.i say shut the place down I won't come back.again disgusting smells of drugs on.site management need to.tackle there staff how could they let people work for them in.such manor

Hollybank is the great caravan park been to well maintained cleaned on regular basis I'd recommend it to anyone who is wanting a break away from town life with its beautiful surrounding's and cheap accommodation

I can not comment on the caravans as we stayed in a pod but the pod was lovely. There are two single beds (bunks) which are ample size. I actually slept top and tail with my 3 yr old grandson and my two 8 yr old grandsons slept top and tail in the top one. There was loads of room. My other half slept on the sofa bed. The heating was brilliant and they have everything you need ie fridge, microwave & toaster. The shower was good too. Lovely and modern. We nipped in the shop on our way home and it was well stocked. As I only slept there one night I cannot comment in the rest of the amenities. We will go again. Thank you

I stayed here for a period of time because it was my only option before i get to the bad points the staff were great and worked hard to keep the place going they were lovely. As were most of the permanent residents. howeverThere is no running water or proper toilet facilities in the caravans, it is extremely cold we had a tiny heater which done nothing because the caravan was in such bad shape the draft came in from everywhere. The cooking facilities are bare minimum. There was an electric Oven which does not work. The electricity hardly powers the kettle properly There is no proper lighting at night and being in the middle if nowhere it is very dark and cold so having to go the toilet during the night is not nice. The female toilets were clean for the most part as were the showers as far as the male toilets from what I'm told not so good. The caravans themselves are barely habitable and need to be replaced.Despite what the website says there is not WiFi all over the place it is only available if you sit outside reception. There is one washing machine and one dryer the dryer keeps breaking. The shop is not fully stocked with a wide variety of stuff it closes at 6pm week days even earlier at weekends. There no ATM there. No games roomit is in the middle of nowhere so unless you have a car getting to shops is a nightmare as the 100 bus is supposed to run every hour but that is not always the case. This is not somewhere I would re commend to anyone. And the fact this is the place housing plus choose to put families that are homeless despite not having seen the place themselves is disgusting.
