Absolutely beautiful. Been to a wedding and christening here and enjoyed both because of the people there and the venue itself. I consider myself somewhat religious and get a nice feeling being there.
This is where my grandparents went to church from the 1920's and I have photo's of my parents getting married here in the 1950's. Some of my mum's family are bored in the churchyard - surname Monks. We came through the village on a canal holiday and moored in Grapenhall overnight.
A lovely community-centred church. For events like Christmas Eve, the nearby school opens their playground for parking, otherwise the nearby pub had plenty of parking.
Remarkable historic place of worship.
A beautiful church (over 800 years old) set in the historic village centre of Grappenhall complete with cobbled street. The bell tower has what is reputed to be the original Cheshire Cat carved in stone below the window. With a Saxon font and medieval glass windows, it has a lot of interesting features to explore. Visitors are made very welcome at services.
