Rude and unsympathetic receptionist. Wouldnt be coming back only Ive paid up front. Will be looking for an alternative dentist.Edit: when I returned for my rescheduled appointment, the receptionist I'd first encountered wasn't there and the two ladies on reception plus the dentist and dental nurse were all lovely and restored my faith in this practice. I also got an apology for the what had happened on my first visit and their failings as a practice which was welcomed since the first receptionist was only interested in blaming me for what had happened.
Ive been going to this dentist for over 15 years. Ive never had a problem with either the receptionists or dentists. This week I had an appointment that Id asked to bring forward, due to a tooth infection. The morning of the appointment, the receptionist rang to cancel as the dentist had rung in sick. I explained I desperately needed the appointment. I was catered for and had the work done that I needed. Id forgotten my glasses and thankfully the receptionist lent me hers to fill in forms. Great service and staff.
The service we have received today has been a complete disgrace. The receptionist was rude and has no empathy at all. The manager you would expect to call and apologise and do whats needed to make the situation right. But this manager is rude and has zero management skills. Its not like the service is free, we are paying over 200 for a treatment so you would expect to be treated in a nice way. The dentist cancelling your Saturday appointment because Im guessing he has realised its a bank holiday so wanting it off but they use an excuse that his assistant has called in sick for 2 weeks so that means the whole surgery is ground to a holt? Surely you would have a back up plan. Im a believer in giving a company a chance first before writing this which is what we did but you get no where so just want others to know what to expect from this dentist. Go elsewhere I know I am.
Always welcoming and helpful. Dentist takes the time to talk you through everything and help put nervous patients at ease. Have recommended and got all my family and 2 neighbours to go to them as well.
Hate to provide bad reviews, however the administrative ineptitude of this branch of myDentist, and in particular the twisted manipulative behaviour of the receptionist, is nothing short of disturbing.
