Not many GP practices around where you phone 8am and get same morning appointments, I've been with this practice since Dr Whitenburgh took over Dr Kumar at Bold Street many years ago and have only been unhappy once which was resolved very quickly.Dr Whitenburgh is a great GP no nonsense type character and the staff are always sound with me.Some of these reviews are hideous and it seems people only leave a review when they're not happy.
One lady called me on Wednesday to call them back on Friday morning for registration check in. When i ringed in the morning another lady said I missed my appointment!!What kind of appointment you talking about when we didnt fix nothing yet!?Ok,she said I dont know whats gonna happen with you we will call you back. All this happened 2 months ago and still No answer, no missed call. Doesnt matter in 1 day I registered somewhere else! Disappointment!
Very shocked about the people filling positions as doctors and nurses as wellThere was a time where doctors would ask you alot of questions and offering possible solutions,now they just seat in their chair not even looking at you,they dont even listen and they are trying to get you out of the office immediatly.I have stomach problems for over a year now and I have asked Dr Whitenburugh to help me go to a specialist,a private or something,he said he cant do that,he is not allowed to reccomand private hospitals/doctors.
I have been registered with this practice since it opened. I love this surgery. The receptionists are always warm and friendly. Dr Whitenburgh is fantastic and always goes the extra mile. He is a credit to his profession.
Today I tried to join the centre and I was greeted by at the start an immensely rude woman who was small in stature age in her 60s and overweight. I do apologise for the description but she was absolutely horrid. She was very abrupt with myself and patronising with two European people who came in probably is a racist. She said that I should take everything home to read it before filling the application form in to join. That has nothing to do with her. When I had filled it all in and I handed it to her, it was like a teacher marking my work. She tried to rip me to bits over what I had and hadnt filled in. Instead of being respectful and supportive as she should be. I said its okay Ill leave it and walked away from the situation as her negative energy was starting to effect me and I could tell that she was in fact a control freak. She hated this and raised her voice and said excuse me? Dont you want this?, I am glad I walked away I will not be abused by an NHS member of staff, she was playing mind games. She shouldnt be working with people. I hope that she endures karma as she is a horrid person. Good riddens.I have just received back a rejection email stating that this review cannot be published on their own website as it may be seen as offensive by staff and patients. Please Id urge anyone to read the google reviews of the centre as they are truthful and accurate, whereas their NHS website will not publish the truth, disgusting. They are in the wrong not me, I didnt even get an apologie nor that theyd look into it. If I was you Id go elsewhere.
