Why don't people use the sense they've been given with, don't phone through for test results when you know they'll be a queue.
The ladys on the ground floor reception,absolute unhelpful,they always show empty unfriendly faces!!never a nice one,smily face... how they should be,if so they have receptionists??Why people seating on this desk,if dont like a job??
Have recently moved from this practice as I'm so angry at how I have been treated by one of the doctor's at this surgery. I was treated like a drug addict when tried to get my usual repeat prescription for analgesia, that I had been having for years. Even though, my previous 3 appointment s had all related to unbearable chronic pain, and the doctor suggested increasing my tablets. But instread he reduced my repeat prescription so that my tablets only last 2 weeks.I Pay for prescriptions so this has a big impact upon me. Let alone the increase in pain, as I'm trying to make the tablets last a month.The practice manager was also totally ineffective when I complained....I Would definitely not recommend this surgery to anyone.
Doctors and nurses etc are brilliant, and always have been throughout the thirty-odd years we have been on the books, no matter the changes in personnel over the years. However when it comes to phoning to get blood test results I can never seem to get through. Tried three times today, was put in a queue, stayed on the line for ages but was never picked up. Telephone services may be the way forward for GP surgeriesbut they will only work if there are sufficient people available to answer the phone.
GPs are good but the reception staff are pathetic. At least a 10 minute wait for them to even pick up the phone. No excuse as when you're in the surgery, there are plenty of opportunities for them to answer their phones.
