I cannot beleive I've lived in the North of England now three years, and I've only just discovered my second favourite store in the world is less than an hour away!!! Yehaaa! (Thats my next satuday ride sorted !)I was in South London but used to visit the original Axminster, in Devon...Oh yes the review;Best tool shop in England... You'd have to go to the States to find as good or better, but if you want vintage; Tony Murlands hard to beat...

Excellent range and setup. You can test out saws and equipment and really get a feel for the tools. Staff were very friendly and gave good advice. A great playground for woodworkers, metalworkers and home workshoppers in general.
