The place looks lovely and the food was really tasty; good value for the price, service was not the best... nice but very slow and a bit haphazard. For some reason there is dried fruit slices like you get in pot pourri in every drink, what's wrong with a slice of fresh lemon?

I ordered from the festive menu the prawn starter, the rump steak and the gingerbread cheesecake. The food was adequate but nothing special and the lettuce on the starter looked like it had been there for days. The steak and sweet was nice but what let the restaurant down was the slow service.Our table was booked for 7.30pm, it was past 8.30pm before we had our starter and it was nearly 10pm before we'd ate our sweet. I wouldn't mind but they weren't even busy overall Iwon't be in a rush to return.
A nice venue with a really good menu, a midweek specials menu and a massive selection of drinks to include a rack of gin. The staff here are very friendly and professional. The food was hot, well presented and tasty too. I'd have no problem recommending this place and returning.
