Well prepared food, prompt and efficient staff : very good as thirty of us sat down to lunch together. I'd recommend Hallmark Hotel to others and plan to return
Very poor and dirty place rude staff we had our Christmas party here i asked a member of staff what the soup was and his reply was well you would know if you have ordered it..... we don't pre-order the main course the portion sizes are very small and wouldn't fill a baby up, the entertainment is boring. My room was a disabled room which i requested shower was dirty tiles lifted and looked like it hadn't been cleaned for weeks, i don't have a wheel chair but its a good job as you wouldn't be able to swing a cat. definitely AVOID this hotel.
It's ok, not great but not bad either. I thought the dinner and breakfasts were acceptable - I had no problem eating both more than once.The room was a little small and the toilet seat was broken, so that was a let down. It was fine as a place to sleep and shower and fairly quiet. I didn't have much chance to explore the area, but the canal looked clean and worth a walk along.
Really nice food and really friendly staff. Attended a wedding and the room was dressed nice. Price of the bar was as you would expect for a hotel.
I stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms. Was a little disappointed with not having a bath but, the shower wasn't bad so, can't complain. The bed was comfy and the curtains did a very good job of blocking out the light. Although the room wasn't dirty, it could have done with a dusting before guests checked in. The food and drink price was pretty expensive. The staff were all helpful and did what they could to help with anything we asked.
