Worst Premier Inn I've stayed in.I've used Premier Inn's all over the UK. This one is horrible. Stayed in room 9. List of problems were...3 electrical sockets in the entire room. None by the bed night stands.Bathroom decor was outdated and toilet handle was hanging off.Shower head has. What appears to be mould on it.Room smells odd. Like damp/mouldy. Was very tired when I arrived and didn't notice, until I left the room and came back later.Either I had a hippo in the room above or the ceilings and walls are paper thin.TV was covered in.. something gross and was smaller than my laptop screen and I had a choice of charging my phone or watching TV.Next time I'm in Warrington, I'll definitely be using another hotel.
The beds are okay, fairly good breakfast. Whilst the rooms are clean the rest needs tidying up, starting to look tatty. Wi Fi is terrible and mega slow. The TV only has two channels and no option for subtitles for deaf people. So you it gets very boring here with nothing to do unless you can afford the expensive pub next door.
Tried to book a room for the night. called in between 1-2 pm 23/12/18 nobody on reception waited for about 20 minutes nobody appeared so rang doorbell to see if it would attract anybody's attention - nothing. Gave up after 30 minute wait and went somewhere else. Need to get a bell on reception desk, not impressed.
Super comfortable beds. Great value for a family room. Close to the centre of Warrington. The restaurant next door serves a very nice dinner and breakfast.
A bit dated in need of a full refurbishment and not the slap and make do work that seems to be going on at the moment. Certainly not the usual premier inn quality i expect especially when staying in the city centre locations. Pretty good location though so will recommend for this reason along with the free parking.
